Not limited by grade level

Personalized Learning for Every Student

At Cleveredge, students are not limited by their grade level. We believe every child deserves instruction that meets them where they are and challenges them to grow. Through personalized learning, teachers assess each student's current skills and create a pathway for continuous academic progress.

Students who need additional support receive targeted instruction designed to strengthen foundational skills and build confidence. Students who are ready for advanced work are provided with opportunities to accelerate and engage in more rigorous learning experiences.

Whether a student enters performing below, at, or above grade level, our goal is the same: meaningful growth. A sixth-grade student working at a fourth-grade level receives the support and challenge needed to make significant academic gains, while a sixth-grade student performing at an eighth-grade level is encouraged to advance even further. We measure success not by where students start, but by how far they grow.

Progress Monitoring & Assessment

Assessment is used to support growth, not define it. This allows families to receive a clear picture of their child's growth throughout the year.

  • Standards-based progress monitoring

A note on testing

Private schools in North Carolina do not administer End-of-Grade (EOG) tests. CleverEdge instead uses nationally normed assessments and NC Check-In–style benchmarks to track each child's growth against both national peers and state standards — no surprises in June.
